Music is a universal dialect, a societally-surpassing way of communicating what we think, how we feel, who we are, apart and together. It's a venue for joy, for heartache, for every conceivable emotion and season of life.
But I believe the ultimate purpose for melodies and words colliding is to worship God—experience closeness with Holy Spirit, to adore our Savior, to interact with our Father. It is a place where we are most intimately and transparently ourselves with Him and He is with us, where nothing matters more than to be with Him.
And that's why I make music.
"Now, with breathtaking wonder, let everyone worship Yahweh, this awe-inspiring Creator."
